We were hoping to see Team Ico’s first PlayStation 3 game, The Last Guardian , at the Tokyo Games Show but it’s not on Sony’s list . We hope they’re just bluffing, because Fumito Uedo was showing the game off just a day ago. He was showing it off to developer’s at CEDEC , Japan’s developer’s conference – his topic of discussion was the power of animation in games. RockStar games has announced that it will be launching a version of GTA for the Apple iPad, Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars HD. Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars HD will be available on the iPad from September the 9th 2010, and it will retail for $9.99, which does seem quite expensive. Next week, the critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iPhone and iPod touch will be getting an HD makeover for it’s release on the Apple iPad. In addition to the wide range of features developed specifically for the previous App Store iterations, including intuitive Multi Touch user interface controls, adjusted difficulty levels and iTunes customizable radio station Independence Radio, Chinatown Wars HD comes to the iPad with brand new, updated high definition graphics. Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars HD will go on sale next Thursday in the iPad App store.

The outfit suggests that you turn this critter into a whole home DVR solution by running SageTV Media Center software alongside of it, but you should probably know that you’ll have some trouble if trying to shove DRM’d content through it.
