Buffalo looks like to be one of the first companies to sell a USB 3.0 device, with the launch of the Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3.0 Hard Drive, which will go on sale later this month.

The Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3.0 Hard Drive will come in a ranges of sizes, including 1TB, 1.5 TB and 2TB, it will also comes with an NEC IFC-PCIE2U3 2-port PCI Expressx1 host controller, so you can connect it to your PC.

The Buffalo HD-HU3 USB 3.0 Hard Drive will retail for $225 for the 1TB version and $284 for the 1.5TB version, and it will go on sale sometime this month, although the exact date hasn’t been confirmed as yet.
