DirecTV adds HDNet content to on-demand library
by Jeff Chabot on November 4, 2009
DirecTV has added content from Mark Cuban owned networks HDNet and HDNet Movies. Over 20 hours from HDNet, and 25 movies from HDNet Movies are now part of the DirecTV video-on-demand library.
To get the HDNet Movies titles on-demand, you must subscribe to DirecTV’s HD Extra Pack. To get the HDNet programming, you simply need to be subscribed to HD service from DirecTV.
HDNet runs a range of programming from original content like “Dan Rather Reports” to “Get Out” and “Inside MMA.” HDNet Movies features a wide range of titles from “Lost in Translation” to “The Illusionist” and Kevin Costner’s “Waterworld.” Movie titles are refreshed every month.
HDNet has been on DirecTV’s satellite network since 2001. Demand content from DirecTV requires a DIRECTV Plus HD DVR (HR20 or HR21 models).
