Microsoft (MSFT) has added a new webcam to their range with the launch of the, Microsoft HD LifeCam Cinema.

The Microsoft HD LifeCam Cinema offers true HD in 720p, it can capture video at a rate of 30 frames per second, and is designed to give you high quality video at an affordable price.

It features 4 x times digital zoom, auto focus, a digital microphone and features a glass lens, it is designed to work with a desktop PC as well as your notebook or netbook.

The Microsoft HD LifeCam Cinema features a built in Live call button, which offers easy integration with Windows Live Messenger, and it connects to your PC via USB 2.0.

The HD LifeCam Cinema is compatible with Windows XP, up to Windows 7, it will go on sale on September the 9th for $79.99.
