— May 28, 2009 — Microsoft provided the first public demonstrations of its forthcoming Zune HD portable media player (PMP). At today’s D: All Things Digital conference, CEO Steve Ballmer reportedly showed off a prototype, showcasing features such as an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) touchscreen display, and an HD radio receiver.
