Panasonic adds Amazon VOD to Blu-ray players

2009 models of Panasonic Blu-ray Disc players with VIERA CAST now have access to Amazon’s video-on-demand (VOD) titles. The Amazon library consists of 1,000 high-definition (HD) titles including popular movies like “Knowing” and “Rush” and TV shows “House” and “Battlestar Galactica.” Current owners of 2009 model Panasonic BD players (with VIERA CAST) automatically receive a free software update and can start downloading VOD titles once the player is registered with Amazon. The VIERA CAST feature is available on the Panasonic DMP-BD60, BD70V, and BD80 models, as well as the portable B15 Blu-ray Disc player
