Silicon Power Announce 128GB Flash Card

Storage is getting smaller and smaller and the recent announcement from Silicon Power about their forthcoming compact Flash card which will support 128 GB is indicative of the trend. It has write speeds of 90 Mbps and will be ideal for use in high definition video capable DSLR devices. The 400X CF card is the largest announced so far and with so many digital cameras and camcorders now supporting high resolution it is a very important development. For people used to having to switch cards in and out the freedom to shoot away and not worry about limited storage space is a real boon. The card also has Error Correction Code to ensure data integrity and it is durable, green compliant and has a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately the exact release date and the price have not yet been confirmed but these are sure to popular when they hit the market
