Majesco has announced that Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter has hit Xbox Live Arcade today.
For 1200 MSP ($14.99/£10.20/€13.96), players can battle Sirian Werebulls, Headless Kamikazes and other baddies in a seemingly non-top barrage of bullets, leaving a trail of blood and bodies through ancient Egypt. This makes it cheap.
“This game takes my good looks, swarthy charm and timeless cool from the original version and ups it to a level of god-like brilliance,” says Sam ‘Serious’ Stone. “Gamers can even play online with up to three friends to wipe out the thorn in my side known as the Sirian Army.”
Croteam and Devolver Digital’s revamped the run and gun classic, giving all 15 levels of awesomeness a fresh HD paint job, and giving a new generation of shooter fans something to sink their teeth into.
Hell yeah. Looks like our Wednesday night just got a bit more interesting.
